I. Acceptance of Terms

Access to and use of the website www.labenesanluis.mx and its subdomains (hereinafter "the Site") implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the user. If you do not agree with them, we ask that you refrain from using the Site.

The Sociedad de Beneficencia Española, A.C. reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the Site.

II. Use of the Website

The Site's purpose is to provide information about the medical services, facilities, and activities of Hospital Beneficencia Española de San Luis Potosí. The user agrees to:

• Use the Site in accordance with the law, morality, and good practices
• Not reproduce, distribute, or modify the content without express written authorization
• Not engage in activities that damage, render useless, or deteriorate the Site or its services
• Not introduce viruses, malicious code, or other elements that could alter systems
• Provide truthful information when using contact forms

III. Medical Information — Limitation of Liability

The Hospital is not responsible for medical decisions made based on information published on the Site. Medical content is updated periodically but may not reflect the most recent advances in medicine.

IV. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including texts, photographs, logos, images, videos, graphic design, and source code — is the property of the Sociedad de Beneficencia Española, A.C. or their respective owners, and is protected by Mexican and international intellectual property laws.

Reproduction, in whole or in part, of the content for commercial purposes without written authorization from the Hospital is expressly prohibited.

V. Patient Portal and Confidentiality

Access to the X-Ray Portal and other patient portals is protected by personal, non-transferable credentials. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their username and password. The Hospital is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from the user's disclosure of credentials.

Health data accessible in the portals is confidential clinical information protected by NOM-004-SSA3-2012 and the General Health Law.

VI. Contact Forms and Appointments

The Site's forms are used exclusively to manage information requests and appointments. Submitting a form does not constitute confirmation of a medical appointment or establish a doctor-patient relationship. Requests will be attended during business hours (Mon–Fri 8:00–20:00, Sat 8:00–14:00).

VII. Service Availability

The Hospital does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability of the Site. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, or force majeure causes. We are not responsible for damages arising from temporary unavailability of the Site.

VIII. Privacy Policy

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.

IX. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute arising from use of the Site, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of San Luis Potosí, S.L.P., expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them.
