One of the best neonatal units in the region, with specialized technology and highly trained staff to care for the newborns who need it most.
Our Unit
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at La Bene San Luis is designed to provide specialized care to premature newborns or those with medical conditions that require intensive monitoring and treatment during their first hours or days of life.
We have capacity for 4 neonatal incubators, 3 thermal cribs for intensive care and 2 dual systems, all operated by highly trained and specialized neonatology staff.
Our NICU stands as one of the best units of its kind in the region, thanks to the combination of top-tier infrastructure, advanced life support technology and a dedicated team committed to every small life.

Every piece of equipment in our NICU is selected to guarantee the highest level of neonatal life support and maximum safety for the smallest and most vulnerable patients.
Latest-generation incubators with precise control of temperature, humidity and oxygen, creating the ideal microenvironment for premature or low-birth-weight neonates.
Radiant heat cribs for neonatal intensive care that allow full access to the patient during procedures, with integrated vital signs monitoring.
Combined incubator-thermal crib systems that offer the flexibility to switch modes according to the neonate's clinical progress, without the need to transfer the patient.
Precision neonatal ventilators that allow multiple ventilatory support modes, adapted to the immature lungs of the premature newborn.
High-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) for the most complex cases of neonatal respiratory failure, when conventional ventilation is not sufficient.
Blue LED phototherapy lamps with integrated examination lamp for effective treatment of neonatal jaundice, with minimal heat production.
Comprehensive care
Specialized care for premature and low-birth-weight newborns, with full support for all their immature organ systems.
Advanced management of all forms of neonatal respiratory failure, with invasive and non-invasive ventilation according to each patient's needs.
Diagnosis and treatment of neonatal jaundice with high-efficiency LED phototherapy, minimizing treatment times and the risk of complications.
Staff trained in neonatology, continuously present for care and immediate decision-making with critically ill neonatal patients.
