The Adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at La Bene San Luis has 6 fully equipped and interconnected modules linked to the nursing and monitoring station, ensuring continuous surveillance and immediate response to any change in patient status.

Each module has the necessary equipment for advanced life support: mechanical ventilation, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, infusion pumps, and renal support systems, among others.

The unit is staffed by critical care specialist physicians present 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, coordinated with the multidisciplinary team of specialized nursing and infectious disease specialists.

Modules with Independent
Pressure Control

Three of the six ICU modules feature independent air pressure control, allowing positive or negative pressure environments according to each patient's clinical needs.

This infrastructure is essential for the safe management of immunocompromised patients requiring protection from external agents, as well as for isolating patients with transmissible diseases, preventing the spread of infections within the unit.
