Equipment description

This equipment allows performing simple mammography, contrast- enhanced, tomosynthesis, and marker-guided biopsy studies, offering comfort and greater reliability to our patients. It is unique equipment in San Luis Potosí and the third of its kind in the entire country.

3D tomosynthesis generates three-dimensional images of the breast, allowing radiologists to examine breast tissue layer by layer, significantly improving early detection of breast cancer compared to conventional mammography.

Equipment description

Full-body bone densitometry equipment that accurately evaluates bone mineral density. The primary use is diagnosing osteoporosis and predicting fracture risk. Also useful for treatment follow-up.

Osteoporosis is common, often silent, and carries a risk of sometimes atraumatic fractures. Densitometry allows detection before fractures occur.

Hospitalized Patients

Patients admitted to La Bene have priority access to CADT services. Attending physicians can order imaging studies directly and results are sent to the hospitalization area.

Emergency Studies

For emergency patients, the CADT has X-ray service available 24 hours. MRI and CT scan available for emergencies depending on equipment availability.
